Knot Okay Club was birthed out of creative expression
as one Black Woman navigated her way through grief by crocheting. Then, invited other Black Women and non-binary people who needed the space too; consequently creating a community of Fiber Artists from social media to real life.

Knot Okay Club
is a community in NYC for Black Women and non-binary people to connect, confide, and crochet with one another.
“The process of creating from Our hands, crochet specifically, is an ancestral practice that does not get the credit nor visibility in luxury fashion that it should.”
This editorial project highlights the craftsmanship of crochet fashion, and celebrates the fiber artists of Knot Okay Club.
